JOFDL Issue 27 (2) now released!

A new Special Issue of the Journal of Open, Flexible and Distance Learning looks at the history of flexible learning.

This issue contains:

  • an Editorial focusing on the wealth of information available from within the Journal, and highlights of the New Zealand context of open, flexible and distance learning
  • an Invited article by Andrew Higgins looking at the history of flexible learning in New Zealand the professional association DEANZ, later FLANZ, that supports it
  • 7 key articles previously published in the Journal which provide insight into the long journey flexible learning has made from a small area on the fringe of education practices, into the mainstream.
